We are currently closed to all submissions, except for Indivisible We Stand, an anthology of tales from the front lines of the ongoing battle for equal rights for all women around the world.

We feel our mission, our dedication to literary fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books that celebrate the unique and under-represented voices of women, is more important than ever. As a publisher devoted to works by women, it is our duty to do what we can to ensure the voices of women are not only heard, but preserved for future generations. When we were watching millions of women marching in protest throughout the world, we saw millions of stories of sacrifice, courage, and conviction. We saw the power that comes from women standing up for their rights.

We were reminded of the fights waged in previous generations as Angela Davis and Gloria Steinem spoke, and we saw a new generation of women determined to fight for the rights they have and to keep fighting for equal rights. We knew we had to capture the stories of these women to inspire other women today and in the future to take up the fight. And most importantly, to keep the truth alive.

We are collecting stories for an anthology from women who have a personal tale of protest, of an act of resistance, or of something proactive to help the fight for woman rights. Or who have a great story about a known or unknown women’s rights hero. Or who are just plain angry right now and want their voice to be heard.

We want to capture and preserve your stories that have the reader marching alongside, demonstrating, and standing with you as you stand up for what is right. Stories about that pivotal moment when you decided to become a warrior and took a warrior stance. We want stories that celebrate unsung heroes and those women who have become our inspiration to fight.

Indivisible We Stand is an anthology of tales from the front lines of the ongoing battle for equal rights for all women around the world. Raise your voice and send us your story–you know, the one you often think about and tell; the story that turned you into a warrior for women’s rights.

And keep on marching!

1000 to 5000 words.

Reprints are welcome. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, just let us know if a story is accepted elsewhere.

The small submission fee will help pay for the extra costs of producing a large anthology and for marketing and promoting it.
